Xona is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to work as a contributor to the development and integration of a desktop application to interact with our in-house satellite receivers and to write application code for our satellite subsystem components.

The ideal candidate thrives in quick-paced start-up settings, and can confidently work independently and collaboratively to deliver mission-critical insights.

Required Qualifications
Experience with C and Python coding languages and build systems
Experience with hardware communication system protocols such as RS-485, UART, I2C, CAN, SPI, and ethernet TCP/IP
Experience with dev kits and firmware flashing
Software architecting for software-hardware interfaces (wire format), build system design, component and subsystem communication design, and software modularization
Embedded development for microcontroller programming
Bash Scripting




Experience with RTOS
Background in Control systems and/or motor control
Experience as a team lead/manager
