We're currently looking for an energetic and reliable warehouse sorter on behalf of a transportation client of ours. Within this role, you will be crucial to the accurate distribution of goods to be delivered within the Ottawa and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
Sorting through incoming and outgoing freight
Loading and unloading trucks
Working closely with Forklift Operators and Dock hands
Standing and walking for long periods of time
Keeping work area clean
Reading bills/manifests to ensure load is correct
Additional duties as requested or required
Requirements:
Must have reliable means of transportation (No buses)
Steel-toed boots are required for safety
Physically able to lift up to 50lbs
Preferably 6 months of verifiable relatable experience
Criminal Record Check may be required as part of the onboarding process
