About The RoleTerus Construction, a division of Colas Western Canada Inc., is seeking a seasonal Ready‑Mix Truck Driver to join our team in Cranbrook, BC (East Kootenay).Main ResponsibilitiesMust be able to safely operate a ready‑mix truck.Complete driving assignments in a timely and safe manner.Must be able to lift and move product, sometimes involving strenuous labour.Work extended hours and irregular days with irregular breaks.Maintain necessary logs, driving records and DOT certifications.Complete daily pre‑ and post‑trip inspections of vehicle.Complete ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisor.Perform a variety of tasks as needed or required when not delivering concrete.Be willing to travel and work out of town occasionally when required or necessary.RequirementsHave at least an active Class 3 license (preference to Class 1).Pass a MVR test.Experience operating a ready‑mix truck or gravel truck in construction areas is preferred,



but not required.Ability to perform manual labour.Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co‑workers or supervisors with other duties as required.Working ConditionsUse of personal protective equipment is required.Work in the field and in all weather conditions.Work overtime (may include weekends) during the busy season (April to October) and on call as necessary.Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs on a regular basis.Position is safety‑sensitive; selected candidate mustpass drug and alcohol testing as required.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Compensation & BenefitsThe anticipated hourly wage for this position is $37.68 – $39.37 CAD per hour.
