Assignments will require good technical understanding of the basics. Work performed will be under the direct supervision of a Senior Structural Technician or Engineer.A Lead OSIM Bridge Inspector will perform a variety of tasks which may include preparing drawings and assisting with the plans and designs of structures and facilities such as bridges, railroads, roads, airports, harbors, dams, irrigation projects, pipelines, tunnels, power plants and other projects.Your Key ResponsibilitiesLead and conduct the inspection of existing bridges, culverts, and other transportation structures per the Ontario Structure Inspection Manual (OSIM), Ontario Health and Safety Act (OHSA), and other applicable standardsComplete daily Health and Safety documentationAvailable to work flexible hours, days, nights, and weekends. Staff will be required to be away from home for periodsProvide recommendations on bridge, culvert and retaining walls,
