Job SummaryThe Technical Librarian, Technical Operations reports to the Director, Regulatory Compliance and Training. This position supports the compliance and effectiveness of the Technical Library within the Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO).Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing the airworthiness technical library for both fleet types, the DeHavilland Dash 8 and the Embraer E195-E2Act as the Administrator for all technical publications portal accessConducts updates to all secondary source technical publications to ensure offline access to the most current instructions for continued airworthinessDistribute MRBR amendments to the Maintenance Planning department and provide support with controlled MRBR updates in the MRO software databasesManage document control of all soft and hard copy manuals at all line maintenance bases and outstations, including CMMs and in-house task bindersCoordinate with Flight Operations to ensure that allaircraftcertificates and other regulatory required documents and current Technical Operations manuals are onboardaircraftSubmit Annual Airworthiness Information Reports to Transport CanadaManage the document control of all Detailed Procedures Documents (DPDs) and Maintenance Quality (MQ) FormsParticipate in Airworthiness Directive, ServiceBulletinand In-House task assessment meetings for both fleet typesActivelyparticipatein Porter's Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidentsencounteredin daily operations; understand,complyand promote the Company Safety PolicyOther tasks as assigned.Behavioural CompetenciesConcern for Safety:
