JOB DESCRIPTIONUnder the general direction of the Hotel Housekeeping Manager, Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining an exceptionally clean and inviting environment for our hotel guests and responding to specific room supply requests in a timely manner. They must always adhere and work according to the policies, procedures, quality standards and services established by the management team for the satisfaction of internal and external guests.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain the cleanliness of guest rooms as assignedMeet the standard of cleaning sixteen (16) guest rooms per shiftReport any damage or inefficiencies to management prior to releasing a room for occupancyRespond in a courteous and welcoming manner to guest questions and requests for suppliesOperate cleaning equipment in a safe manner following all standard operating proceduresMaintain cleanliness of boardrooms as assignedEnsure inventory of guest room products are updated prior to releasing the roomClean other common areas within the hotel when requested by management on an as needed basis and when possible; andEnsures compliance with health and safety protocols and maintains a safe and healthy environmentEducation And Qualification RequirementsPrevious cleaning experience required with preference given to hotel environmentCustomer service experience requiredAbility to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 11.5 kg or 25 lbs)Ability to multi-task and achieve daily quotasMust be able to communicate effectivelyAbility to operate basic cleaning equipment; andMust have asafety mindset for self and others.Bilingual (English/French) is an asset but not requiredWork Environment ConsiderationsWork within a 24/7 operation with ability to work flexible schedule when required (days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays)Willing to submit to a criminal record check with results acceptable to our organization, standards and positionGreat Canadian Entertainment is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion and we welcome all qualified applicants to join our team of unique contributors.
