This role support the successful execution of applied research projects through participation in data collection, preparation, processing, equipment maintenance, and adherence to established research protocolsWork Location & Schedule:Regular schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.M. – 4:30 p.M.In office at CISWP office located at 25 Reuter Drive, Cambridge, ON or at a field collection site across Ontario.Travel within Ontario will be requiredKey Responsibilities:Field and Laboratory Research SupportSupport qualitative and quantitative data collection activities, including fieldwork, surveys, interviews, and laboratory-based measurementsAssist with data management processes, including data entry, cleaning, preparation, and processing or analysis under the guidance of senior research staffProvide technical and logistical support during field and lab data collection activities to ensure accurate and efficient research operationsDevelop proficiency in the calibration, troubleshooting, and assembly of human measurement research equipment and technologiesRecruit, prepare, and inform research participants,



ensuring clear communication of study procedures and adherence to CISWP project protocolsSupport CISWP's extensive field research programs such as DOSE and MOSAIC.Research Logistics and Resource PreparationAssist in monitoring and reaching research participant recruitment goals and targets to ensure project timelines are objectives are metSupport the identification and preparation of research equipment, supplies, and training requirements necessary for project executionAssist in delivering basic training on research tools, equipment, and procedures to co-op students and research assistantsHelp ensure research equipment is properly maintained, stored, and operationally ready for use in accordance with established protocolsKnowledge Transfer and CommunicationSupport the planning and delivery of webinars, workshops, and project-related networking events to facilitate knowledge sharing and partner engagementAssist in preparation of technical content for reports, presentations, website materials, and Knowledge Transfer and Exchange (KTE) initiativesContribute to the development of social media content and research success stories related to CISWP projects and outcomesResearch Engagement and CollaborationProvide logistical and technical support for meetings with industry, government, and academic partners to facilitate effective collaboration and shared opportunitiesSupport collaborative research initiatives and stakeholder engagement activities as required to advance project objectivesOther duties as assigned in support of research programs and organizational prioritiesMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in one of the following or a related field:Biomedical EngineeringIndustrial and Systems EngineeringElectrical EngineeringMechanical EngineeringHuman Factors & ErgonomicsKinesiologyBiomechanicsMinimum two (2)
