Your role will focus on providing high-quality anesthetic care for surgical and obstetric patients. This position requires commitment to patient care and education, while working in a fully accredited healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will possess solid interpersonal skills, be effective under pressure, and be passionate about mentoring medical learners. You will experience a mix of days, evenings, and on-call shifts. Key Responsibilities:
Administer anesthetics for surgical and obstetric cases
Supervise medical learners during practice
Participate in rotation on-call approximately 1 in 4
Uphold patient confidentiality in all aspects
Engage in continuous career development Requirements:
Medical degree with anesthesiology specialization
Eligible for certification with the Royal College
Current full licensure in Manitoba required
Proof of malpractice insurance necessary
