Duties
Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and swiftly
Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations
Manage time effectively to ensure timely order completion during busy evening hours




Support kitchen operations by assisting with food prep, stocking supplies, and ensuring quality standards are met

Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient order processing and cash handling
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
Basic math skills for cash transactions and order calculations
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance sales prospects
Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn is valued highly
