Katsuya, a Japanese tonkatsu specialty restaurant, is looking for reliable, motivated, and hardworking Kitchen Staffto join our team.

We are looking for team members who take pride in cleanliness, food quality, and consistency and who can work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Position

Kitchen Staff – Prep / Line Cook / Fry Station / Dishwasher
Part-time and full time positions available
Pay: $17.60 – $18.50 per hour, based on experience and performance
Tips available

Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assist with food preparation
Cook and fry food according to Katsuya's recipes and standards
Plate dishes with attention to presentation and consistency
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
Wash dishes and provide general kitchen support when required
Work efficiently as part of a team during busy service periods
Follow instructions and maintain consistent food quality

Requirements
Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred, but not required




Food Handler Certificate is preferred
Ability to work weekday evenings and weekends
Reliable, punctual, responsible, and detail-oriented
Able to work in a fast-paced setting
Good teamwork and communication skills
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Interest in Japanese food and cuisine is an asset
