Concord Security is looking for part time and casual Security Guards to join our high profile Ports security site located in Nanaimo (Duke Point) for various shifts (overnights and afternoons) throughout the week. This position requires robust communication, social perceptiveness, and interpersonal skills, and excellent deportment.
Pay Rate: $23.29/hour
Please note that all employees for this job site must be able to obtain and maintain a federal Transportation Security Clearance
In this role, you will patrol the facility, ensure only authorized personnel access secure areas, address any hazards, write detailed incident reports, and more.
YOU’RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:

Have prior experience and a valid BC Security License
Have robust English communication, both written and verbal
Are eligible to work in Canada
Are comfortable going through additional background checks to work in federally cleared job sites
Have strong problem solving and decision-making skills
Enjoy being active, including patrolling on foot outdoors, standing for extended periods, and getting in and out of a vehicle regularly
