We are seeking an energetic and reliable Delivery Driver - Class 1 to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities
Safely operate a Class 1 commercial vehicle or 5 ton to deliver freight across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Load, secure, and unload freight using equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring cargo integrity and safety during transit.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including manifests, logs, and delivery receipts, ensuring all records are complete and up-to-date.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues encountered on routes.
Assist with the operation of heavy equipment or machinery as required for loading or unloading freight.
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when needed to ensure vehicle readiness and safety.
Experience
Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably within freight or logistics settings.
Familiarity with forklift operation and freight handling procedures.
Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and safety protocols related to loading/unloading cargo.
Basic automotive repair skills are a plus, enabling quick troubleshooting of vehicle issues on the road.
Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various conditions.

Pay: $31.00 per hour
