Responsibilities
Perform qualified massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and other modalities
Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized therapy plans
Maintain a clean and sanitized treatment area in compliance with health and safety standards
Keep detailed records of client treatments and progress
Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or referrals when necessary
Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times during client interactions
Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education to enhance skills
Skills
Knowledge of medical terminology related to health and wellness is preferred
Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a relaxing and welcoming environment for clients
Excellent communication skills for effectively discussing treatment plans and addressing client concerns

Certification or licensing as required by state regulations for massage therapy
