Duties
Thoroughly wash dishes, glassware, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand when necessary
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, sinks, and surrounding areas to meet health and safety standards
Support the kitchen team by managing waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently
Ensure all dishes are sanitized properly before being stored or used again in food service operations
Follow safety protocols for handling cleaning chemicals and operating dishwashing equipment
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes during busy service hours
Skills
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards in a food service workplace
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a rapid-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in high-pressure situations
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper chemical handling practices

Pay: $15.35-$16.58 per hour
