Duties
Deliver prepared lessons across multiple high school subjects, including core areas like Math, Science, English, and Social Studies
Manage classroom behavior to create a safe and respectful learning setting
Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with disabilities or special education requirements
Collaborate with school staff to support individualized learning plans (ILPs) and accommodate students with special needs
Provide clear instructions and foster open communication to engage students actively in their learning process




Maintain accurate attendance records and complete necessary documentation for each class session

Requirements
Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or extracurricular setting
Classroom experience demonstrating effective behavior management and instructional skills
Robust communication skills to connect with students, staff, and parents effectively
Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
Background in teaching or early childhood education is highly desirable
Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and student needs
Understanding of a 2E and Neurodiverse population
