Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Employee to join our team in a fast-paced food service setting. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong time management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting. Previous experience would be plus.

Responsibilities
Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions
Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests and addressing their needs promptly
Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining cash handling protocols
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards throughout all food preparation processes
Assist with serving food and beverages to customers, ensuring a pleasant dining experience
Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas,



adhering to sanitation guidelines
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours

Requirements
Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred
Solid knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling practices
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Proficient in basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
Familiarity with cashiering duties and experience using POS systems is a plus
Commitment to upholding food safety standards and sanitation practices
