Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Greenhouse Worker to support the daily operations of our horticultural facility. An ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining healthy plant growth, assisting with irrigation and gardening tasks, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the greenhouse setting. This role offers an chance to work closely with plants and gain hands-on experience in horticulture and greenhouse management.

Responsibilities
Assist with watering and irrigation systems to ensure optimal plant health
Perform planting, transplanting, pruning, and harvesting of various plants
Use hand tools and mechanical equipment for maintenance and setup tasks
Monitor plant growth and report any issues or pests to supervisors
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including cleaning tools and equipment
Support with heavy lifting of plants, soil, or supplies as needed
Assist in setting up and maintaining environmental controls within the greenhouse
Follow safety procedures when handling tools, chemicals,



or heavy materials

Requirements
Prior experience or knowledge in horticulture, gardening, or related fields is preferred but not required
Basic understanding of irrigation systems and mechanical knowledge is a plus
Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively
Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
Basic math skills for measuring soil, fertilizers, or other materials accurately
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team
