Express Employment Professionals is hiring for our client in Agassiz, BC is hiring a Helper / General Labourer. This role is ideal for individuals with general labour experience who enjoy hands-on work in a shop or manufacturing environment.

Position Summary

The Helper / General Labourer supports shop and production operations through general labour tasks including crate building, packaging, cleaning, and assisting various departments as required.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with material movement and basic staging
Build shipping crates using hand tools such as glue guns and basic assembly tools
Support packing and preparation of finished goods
Perform general shop duties including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining work areas
Handle scrap materials and assist with shop upkeep
Support production and warehouse teams as needed
Follow all health and safety guidelines and site rules

Qualifications
Previous general labour or shop helper experience
Comfortable using basic hand tools (e.g., glue gun)
Manufacturing or warehouse experience considered an asset




Forklift experience not required

Required Skills & Competencies
Strong work ethic and willingness to help where needed
Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Able to work well as part of a team
