Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Labourer to join our Telecommunications construction team. In this vital role, you will assist with a variety of construction tasks, supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring projects progress smoothly and efficiently. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute to safe, high-quality work sites where every task matters. This position offers an exciting chance to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while working on diverse projects that challenge and develop your skills.

All applicants must have a valid G drivers license with a clean drivers abstract. 3 years proof of insurance will be required.

Duties
Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including setting up cones and signs and any tools that may be needed for the task at hand
Use basic hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and levels
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications is a plus
Assist in backfilling holes, and leaving worksites in as good or better condition than when we arrived
Support restoration tasks to ensure quality craftsmanship




Ability to operate equipment safely and follow all safety protocols in office is a plus
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly
Flexibility; be able to move around to different divisions
Ability to follow instructions from site supervisors or foremans

Skills
Proficiency with hand tools and basic construction equipment
Previous construction experience or familiarity with jobsites preferred
Ability to read blueprints or schematics
Experience with restoration work is a plus
Ability to support tasks with supervision as needed
Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills

Pay: $19.50-$25.00 per hour
