We are seeking a energetic and dedicated Class 1 Driver to join our logistics team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently and reliably across various routes. Duties
Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Transport freight between distribution centers, warehouses, and customer locations with precision and care
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and other critical systems
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement
Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, mileage logs, and vehicle inspections




Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse teams to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues promptly
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep vehicles in optimal condition

Experience
Valid Class 1 (or equivalent) commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
Proven experience operating heavy trucks in a commercial setting
Familiarity with forklift operation and freight handling procedures
Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and safety protocols
Basic automotive repair skills for routine vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
Ability to follow detailed instructions and comply with safety standards at all times
