We are currently seeking dedicated and versatile Early Childhood Assistants (ECA) or Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECE) to join our team on a part-time and supply basis.
Shift times may include:
7:45 AM – 10:00 AM / 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM (split shift)
12:00 PM – 5:30 PM
7:30 AM – 10:00 AM / 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM (split shift)
7:15 AM – 10:00 AM / 3:00 PM – 5:45 PM (split shift)
3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM / 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM (split shift)
Full-day shifts may also be required on occasion
Hours of Operation: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Candidates must be adaptable and available to be on-call during these hours.
Please note: This position involves split shifts.Applicants who live nearby are preferred due to the nature of the schedule.
Compensation:
ECA: $18.47/hour plus Provincial Wage Enhancement (PWE)
RECE: $22.60/hour plus Provincial Wage Enhancement (PWE)
Qualifications & Requirements:
For RECEs:
College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) Certificate and ECE Diploma
For ECAs: Valid ECA diploma or certificate
Minimum 1 year of experience working with children aged 0–5 years
Robust verbal communication skills — English is required
Valid Vulnerable Sector Check
Up-to-date immunizations
Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification
A positive, team-oriented attitude
