Overview

Join the Bakery team as a Sanitation Worker and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, protected, and hygienic environment across our facilities. Your efforts will ensure that all areas are properly sanitized, debris is promptly removed, and cleanliness standards are consistently met.

Location: Scarborough, Morningside Ave – Hway 401

Schedule: should be versatile for morning and afternoon shifts

Responsibilities
Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in various areas of the facility
Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers and disposal sites
Use commercial cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and pressure washers safely and effectively
Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly




Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly for resolution
Adhere to safety guidelines and proper use of cleaning chemicals to ensure a protected working environment for yourself and others

Experience
Prior cleaning experience preferred, especially in industrial settings
Familiarity with cleaning techniques, tools, and commercial cleaning products is highly desirable
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving equipment or supplies
