Retail Sales Associate / Store Clerk – Vape Shop

This position is more than a cashier role. We're looking for someone who can confidently handle customers, drive sales, manage inventory and take ownership of the store when working independently.

Looking for part time & full time positions. We are looking for a reliable, outgoing, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at our Ottawa vape shop.​

Respon​sibilities:
Greet customers and provide friendly, profe​ssi​onal customer service
Assist cu​stomers with product selection and answer questions about products
Process sales and operate the POS/cash register accurately
Handle cash, debit/credit transactions and daily cash procedures
Maintain accurate inventory and assist with receiving and stocking products
Monitor stock levels and communicate low-stock items
Keep shelves, displays and the store clean, organized and well-presented
Restock merchandise and organize back-stock
Follow all applicable age-verification, identification and provincial/municipal regulations
Maintain a professional and welcoming store workplace




Help with opening and closing procedures - Assist with other day-to-day store operations as needed

What we're looking for:
Previous retail, sales, cashier or customer-service experience is an asset (Minimum 1 year experience)
Solid communication and people skills
Comfortable speaking with customers and making product recommendations
Reliable, punctual and responsible
Honest and trustworthy when handling cash and inventory
Solid attention to detail
Able to work independently and stay productive during slower periods
Quick learner who can become knowledgeable about our products
Positive attitude and professional appearance
Must meet all applicable legal age requirements for employment and handling/selling age-restricted products

Schedule: Must be available for a flexible retail schedule, including evenings and weekends.
