Overview
We are seeking a friendly and productive Food Counter Attendant to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth food service operations in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cashiering, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, along with solid time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Duties
Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
Serve customers promptly with a focus on delivering excellent customer service
Manage cashier responsibilities, including processing payments and upselling menu items
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to food safety regulations
Restock supplies and ensure the food counter is organized and presentable at all times
Assist in food handling tasks, ensuring proper hygiene practices are followed
Engage with customers courteously, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently




Support team members during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery

Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
Knowledge of food preparation, serving, and food safety standards
Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations for transactions
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
Understanding of sanitation procedures and proper food handling techniques
Kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not required
Ability to upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and sales performance
