Duties:
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and qualified manner
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
Assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
Take reservations and manage the waitlist
Answer phone calls and provide information about restaurant services
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
Familiarity with phone etiquette and guest services
Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a rapid-paced environment
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
