Position: Dietary Aide
Reports to: Food Services Manager
Job Status: Ongoing Part-time or Casual
Location: 1813 County Road 2 East, Brockville, ON K6V 5T1
Pay: $17.95 - 18.22/ hr

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Be responsible for breakfast service, including setting up, preparing, serving, and cleaning up after breakfast.
Deliver excellent customer service to residents and guests during meal times.
Serve food and beverages in a friendly and professional manner.
Set up and clean dining areas before and after meal service.
Maintain kitchen and dining areas in a clean, protected, and sanitary condition.
Assist with light food preparation and meal assembly under the direction of the cook or Food Services Manager.
Assist with lunch and dinner meal service as required.
Perform routine housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned.
Store and handle equipment safely and report any unsafe or faulty equipment.
Respect and uphold residents’ privacy, dignity, and rights at all times.
Interact positively with residents, coworkers, and visitors.




Respond appropriately in emergency situations.
Carry out other duties as assigned by the Food Services Manager or General Manager.

What You Bring to the Table
Previous experience in food service, dietary services, housekeeping, or laundry is preferred.
Food Secure Level 1 Certification.
WHMIS Certification.
Transparent TB Test and Criminal Record Check.
Physical ability to carry out duties in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Friendly attitude, strong teamwork, and customer service focus.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and multitask.
Understanding and empathy for the needs of seniors.
Well-groomed with high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness.
Ability to follow safety protocols and infection control procedures.
Must be free from communicable diseases and allergens that could affect performance.
