Before & After School Program Assistant

Progressive Alliance for Welfare Society (PAWS) is looking for a caring, responsible, and energetic Before & After School Program Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will help provide a protected, welcoming, and engaging workplace for school-aged children.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
Morning: 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM
Afternoon: 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM

Applicants must be available for both the morning and afternoon shifts.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise children and ensure their safety and well-being.
Assist with indoor and outdoor activities, games, crafts, and play.
Help create a positive, inclusive, and respectful setting.
Support children with daily routines and transitions.
Assist with snacks and general program organization.




Maintain a clean and safe program environment.
Communicate professionally with children, parents, and team members.
Follow PAWS policies, procedures, and applicable childcare licensing requirements.

Qualifications
Experience working with school-aged children is an asset.
Caring, patient, responsible, and dependable.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Must be available for the morning and afternoon split shifts.
Criminal Record Check will be required
