Boat Haul-Out Climber

Location: Lefroy Harbour Marina

Term: Temporary Oct 13th – Nov 27th

We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Boat Haul-Out Climber to join our team for the upcoming fall haul-out season. This position involves working at heights while assisting with the secure movement and preparation of boats for winter storage.

Responsibilities:
Climb aboard boats and assist with haul-out and storage procedures
Assist with securing boats, covers, straps, and equipment
Work from ladders and elevated surfaces as required
Climb covered boat slip structures
Assist the haul-out crew with positioning and securing vessels
Follow all working-at-heights and marina safety procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area




Work efficiently as part of a team

Qualifications:
Working at Heights training/certification is required
Comfortable working at heights and on boats
Previous marina, boating, construction, or maintenance experience is an asset
Physically capable of climbing, bending, lifting, and working outdoors
Robust attention to safety and detail
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Valid driver’s licence is an asset

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
