Senior Accountant – Public Accounting

Job Type: Full time, Permanent
Annual Compensation: $78,000–$95,000 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Location: Toronto, Ontario – In Person

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team. The role is a blend of the following:
Compilation engagements
Audit and review engagement work (condominiums, etc.)
Corporate income tax returns (T2)
Contributions to personal income tax returns (T1), seasonally
Project management: Taking a file from start to finished
Showing leadership and mentor junior and intermediate accountants
Interfacing with clients

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:
Minimum 4 years of experience in public accounting
Strong experience preparing compilation engagements
Experience preparing T1 and T2 tax returns
Working knowledge of Caseware Working Papers
Working knowledge of Taxprep or Profile
Experience with QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop
Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills





Compensation
Salary of $78,000–$95,000, based on experience
