Job Summary

Responsibilities
Direct traffic safely around construction zones using clear hand signals or flagging devices
Communicate effectively with construction crews, drivers, and pedestrians to coordinate movements
Monitor work zones continuously to identify potential hazards or unsafe behaviors
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations
Assist in setting up traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barriers before shifts begin
Report any incidents or unsafe conditions immediately to site supervisors




Maintain a professional and alert presence at all times to uphold safety standards

Experience
Prior experience in construction or traffic control is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Ability to operate heavy equipment is a plus but not mandatory
Strong understanding of paving processes and construction site safety practices is advantageous
Excellent communication skills and the ability to stay focused in busy environments
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions
