Description: The Medical Radiation Technologist I (MRT) performs all routine radiographic/fluoroscopic, computed tomography and interventional procedures. The MRT I also produces radiographs of high diagnostic quality in an effective and secure manner while attending to the diagnostic and care needs of patients undergoing diagnostic/therapeutic procedures. The MRT I is responsible for the provision of services in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Qualified/Technical Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Radiological Technology program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) required. BLS (Level C - Health Care Provider) required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Motivated and willing to learn. Must be reliable and able to adapt to shift work. Critical thinking skills, team mentality as well as confidence to work independently. Able to be physically active without restrictions.

Preferred Qualifications:
