We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Butcher to join our client in Etobicoke.

Shift: Monday to Friday from 5am-1:30pm

Duties
Perform meat cutting and preparation tasks, including but not limited to slicing, grinding, and packaging various types of meat.
Operating a band saw to portion lamb cuts accurately to specification
Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

Experience
Previous experience as a butcher is required.
Previous experience with beef is required
Proficiency in various meat cutting techniques and familiarity with different cuts of meat.
Ability to work in a cold workplace (approx. 4°C) for extended periods
Physically fit and able to stand for the full shift, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $21.00 per hour
