Job Description:

Our client, a growing technology-enabled organization, is seeking a strategic and hands-on Controller to lead its accounting and financial operations function.

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Controller will oversee financial reporting, controllership, team leadership, compliance, cash management, and process improvement initiatives while supporting the organization's continued growth.

This role is well-suited for a CPA who enjoys balancing technical accounting responsibilities with leadership, business partnering, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping financial processes, supporting acquisitions and integrations, and helping drive the business forward.

Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team of finance and accounting professionals
Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis
Maintain robust internal controls, policies, and compliance frameworks
Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities
Manage cash flow, working capital,



and financial risk management initiatives
Coordinate annual audit activities and external reporting requirements
Drive process improvement, automation, and systems optimization projects
Support acquisition, integration, and business growth initiatives
Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations
Develop financial models and reporting tools to support strategic decision-making
Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and team development

Requirements:
CPA designation required
Progressive controllership and financial leadership experience
Robust technical accounting background
Experience managing and developing finance teams
Advanced Excel skills
Experience with ERP systems and financial technology platforms
Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and audit processes
Experience within technology, software, qualified services, SaaS, or other dynamic growth-focused environments is an asset
