Duties
Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts, following established recipes and quality standards
Assist with food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and assembling baked items
Ensure food safety protocols are strictly followed during handling, preparation, and packaging of products
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment sanitation and proper storage of ingredients
Package baked goods securely for retail display or customer takeout while ensuring freshness and presentation
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations when needed





Qualifications
Previous experience in a bakery, restaurant, or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
Skills in cake decorating and food presentation to create visually appealing products
Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and serve customers professionally
Basic cooking and food preparation skills with a focus on baking techniques
Experience in food industry roles that involve food safety compliance and packaging processes is a plus
