Responsibilities:
Receive incoming pipe, fittings, valves, structural steel, equipment, consumables, and other project materials.
Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, material requisitions, and shipping documents.
Check quantities, dimensions, sizes, grades, and descriptions for accuracy.
Inspect materials for visible damage, defects, or discrepancies upon arrival.
Identify and report shortages, overages, damaged materials, or incorrect items.
Confirm required MTRs, COCs, inspection reports, and other material documentation are included where applicable.
Properly tag, label, and identify received materials for traceability.
Maintain accurate records of material received, issued, transferred, and shipped.
Ensure materials are stored appropriately to prevent damage, contamination, or deterioration.
Maintain material traceability from receipt through fabrication and installation.
Organize yard and warehouse storage areas for efficient access and inventory control.
Monitor stock levels and identify shortages or excess materials.
Employment Requirements:
Have driver’s license or transportation to ensure arriving to work on time prior to daily toolbox meetings
Must be able to take direction from superiors
Must be able to work by themselves and as part of a team
Must by physically capable of lifting up to 50 Lbs
Represent themselves professionally with GMC staff and Clients
Candidates must be from the Edmonton or Fort Saskatchewan area

Pay: $26.00-$36.00 per hour
