Little Scientists Preschool is a licensed, STEM-focused preschool in Sage Hill, NW Calgary, serving children ages 3–6. We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic Level 3 Early Childhood Educator to lead a preschool classroom and create engaging, play-based learning experiences.
Responsibilities
Lead a safe, nurturing and engaging preschool classroom
Plan play-based activities with a focus on STEM and exploration
Support and document children’s development
Communicate with families and work collaboratively with our team
Maintain a clean, organized and inclusive learning setting
Guide classroom assistants and practicum students
Requirements
Alberta ECE Level 3 certification
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Recent Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
Experience working with preschool-aged children
Solid communication, organization and classroom-management skills
A genuine passion for helping young children learn and grow
