WSP is hiring an Archaeology Field Technician I for the 2026 field season, based in the Greater Toronto Area. Engage in various excavation and survey tasks in an outdoor setting. This role involves conducting essential archaeological fieldwork, supporting seasoned supervisors, and helping maintain high safety standards. Team members will gain hands-on experience in all stages of excavation while working in diverse environments and weather conditions. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct surveys and archaeological assessments
Support excavation activities under supervision
Work collaboratively with other field technicians
Follow safety protocols while working outdoors
Maintain professionalism and Ethical conduct at all times Requirements:
Capability for physically demanding tasks
Solid interpersonal communication skills
Valid Ontario driver’s license required
Prior experience in archaeology preferred
