IQ Resource Group is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Shift Leader / Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, maintaining quality and inventory accuracy, supervising employees, and ensuring a protected and productive work environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and previous experience in a manufacturing or plastic extrusion environment.

Pay
$55,000-$65,000 per year

Shift
3rd Shift 10:30pm - 7:00am
Monday night through Friday night

Position Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate production employees during assigned shift
Ensure production schedules and targets are met
Maintain inventory and material accuracy using ERP/software systems
Monitor raw material usage and production reporting
Balance and review direct labor and WIP transactions daily
Oversee quality control processes and ensure compliance with company standards
Read and interpret technical drawings, reports, and work instructions
Train, coach, and motivate employees while providing performance feedback
Assist with continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work workplace




Communicate effectively with incoming/outgoing shift leaders and management
Fill in on production lines as needed

Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old
High School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced education preferred
Minimum of 5 years of plastic extrusion experience required
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong computer and ERP system skills
Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring devices
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a quick-paced manufacturing environment
Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screening and physical evaluation

Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, and lifting up to 70 lbs
Ability to climb ladders and operate forklifts after certification
Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and moderate to loud environments
Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
