Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
Support bank reconciliations and account analysis to verify accuracy of financial data
Maintain and update accounting records using software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or other accounting platforms
Prepare journal entries, assist with month-end closing activities, and support audit preparations
Help with payroll processing and related documentation to ensure compliance with payroll regulations




Conduct account reconciliation tasks regularly to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
Collaborate with team members on budgeting exercises and financial reporting tasks to support organizational goals

Experience
Prior experience or internship in accounting or bookkeeping is preferred but not required; strong willingness to learn is essential
Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft is highly desirable
Basic understanding of corporate finance principles including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliation, and account analysis
Knowledge of auditing processes and financial services practices is a plus
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
