Lead legal functions as Techo-Bloc's first General Counsel, combining legal expertise with strategic business guidance across North America. Techo-Bloc, a prominent landscape product manufacturer, is searching for a forward-thinking General Counsel to report to the CEO.

You will oversee a wide range of responsibilities including acquisitions, commercial contracts, and employment matters, all while building the legal infrastructure necessary for growth. This role demands a blend of legal acumen and commercial pragmatism. Key Responsibilities:
Act as the key legal advisor to executive leadership
Lead contract drafting and negotiations




Strengthen governance and risk management practices
Direct legal due diligence for mergers and acquisitions
Foster relationships with external counsel Requirements:
Juris Doctor and membership in a Canadian law society
At least 7 years' experience with commercial law
Effectiveness in advising on corporate governance
Experience in the manufacturing sector is beneficial
