Kaffi Espresso Bar is looking for an experienced and reliable Barista to join our team.

This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with various food service tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong time management skills, and experience in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
Solid customer service skills
Ability to prepare espresso-based drinks consistently
Reliability and punctuality
Must be available to work weekends
Must be available to work statutory holidays

Responsibilities:
Preparing espresso-based drinks and other beverages according to café standards
Providing friendly and professional customer service
Taking orders and processing payments
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar and customer area
Restocking supplies and following daily checklists
Supporting the team during busy periods
Following food safety and café procedures

Experience
Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred; familiarity with serving customers in a fast-paced environment is ideal.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities.
Basic math skills for cash handling, giving accurate change, and managing sales transactions.
Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety.
Experience in the food industry that demonstrates reliability, teamwork, and a positive work ethic is highly valued.
