Duties
Safely operate a heavy-duty truck to transport goods and materials to and from specified destinations
Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks
Ensure that all cargo is secure and properly loaded to prevent damage during transit
Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure
Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the truck
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays

Experience -Minimum age requirement of 25 and above
Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial driving, ability to do long haul to California
Experience operating heavy equipment, such as forklifts or other loading/unloading machinery
Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures is a plus
require a rapid card

Skills




Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, safely and efficiently
Robust knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures

Note: This is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may be required to perform other related duties as assigned. Wage: 60 cents per mile, extra pick up or drop is $35 per drop and waiting time $25 per hour. Layover $200.
