Position Summary:

South Country Co-op is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Gas Bar Attendant to join our team at the Taber West Gas Bar located in Taber, AB . If you're passionate about providing exceptional customer experiences, we'd love to hear from you!

Reporting to the Gas Bar Manager, the Gas Bar Attendant plays a key role in creating a positive customer experience. You'll be responsible for delivering friendly, efficient service while maintaining a clean and secure environment. This includes operating fuel pumps, handling transactions, stocking inventory, and maintaining site standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers at the pumps, car wash, and propane station
- Operate computerized cash registers and process payments accurately
- Stock inventory, organize merchandise, and maintain product displays
- Ensure the gas bar is clean, safe, and organized both inside and outside
- Follow safety guidelines and uphold company policies
- Deliver excellent customer service by assisting customers, promoting merchandise, and ensure customer needs, preferences, and expectations are met
- Educate customers on the advantages of membership in South Country Co-op
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Minimum 16 years of age
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift 20-30 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally)
- Able to work in various weather conditions
- Basic computer, calculator, and POS skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented,



reliable, and a team player
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt

Work Schedule:

This position requires full availability, including days, evenings, and weekends.
