Horizon Health Network invites veterinary students to an externship at an NVA hospital in Canada, offering hands-on clinical experience and insight into daily veterinary operations. Under a supervising veterinarian, you will engage in histories, exams, treatment planning, diagnostics, dentistry, and occasionally surgical observation.
Externs also enhance communication with the medical team, staff, and clients; most externships run two to eight weeks and include a travel/living expense stipend.
