Job Overview
Responsible for project managing all aspects of the development of utility scale wind and solar projects.
Complete projects on time and on budget
Involved in stakeholder management, site identification, land agreements, selection and screening of sites, environmental assessments, permitting and financial close of wind projects.
Frequently collaborate with peers including Senior Manager and Director of Project Development, Land Agents, and Senior Executives

Your Profile
A degree in a relevant field, engineering, business, planning or environmental studies.
3 years or more of project development management experience in the renewable energy sector
Experience in the development of commercial, industrial, or utility scale renewable energy projects
Previous experience in land securing (options and leases), permitting and connection processes for renewable energy projects.
Ability to interpret and summarize local zoning laws, relevant environmental, development, construction,



etc. restrictions relating to wind energy development in identified regions throughout Canada.
Team player with high-quality communication and organizational skills
Comfortable with GIS software
Capacity to identify and locate appropriate sources of information relating to GIS (including but not limited to shapefiles, kmz files, local zoning laws, relevant legislation, etc.)
Driver’s license

Pay: $120,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
