Drive safety excellence as an Underground Safety Advisor at Coeur Mining’s Rainy River mine. This full time role focuses on enhancing safety protocols and collaborating with underground teams in Ontario. As a key player at Coeur Mining, you will develop safety programs and guidelines while actively participating in risk assessments.
Your position includes overseeing contractor safety practices and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, contributing to a culture of safety across the site. Key Responsibilities:
Develop underground safety policies and programs
Participate in safety assessments and training
Respond to safety-related inquiries from staff
Assist with accident investigations and reporting
Align with health and safety initiatives for the mine Requirements:
3–5 years of relevant safety experience
Operational mining experience preferred
Deep understanding of Ontario mining regulations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
