Gravity Union is looking for our newest Modern Work Consultant! This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position based primarily onsite at our Vancouver office.About the opportunityAt Gravity Union, we empower organizations to take control of their critical information with people-focused solutions. The determination of a candidate’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. and your technical expertise to advise clients on best practices and optimal solutions along their digital transformation journeyTranslating findings into clear recommendations, functional specifications, and solution roadmapsConfiguring and supporting information management and compliance capabilities within Microsoft 365 (ex: SharePoint Online, Purview, permission models, labels and retention schedules, content lifecycle management, site architecture, etc.)Effectively setting and maintaining client expectations based on project requirements and scope, our statement of work, and clients’ functional and regulatory needsProviding on-demand expert advice on digital records management principals and best practicesStaying up to date with relevant technologies and procedures and proactively sharing your findings with team membersWorking towards additional relevant Microsoft certification(s)Supporting internal organizational initiativesAre you the one?Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related field, or a combination of relevant education and experienceMS-700: Teams Administrator Associate certificateMinimum 3-5+ years working experience within a consulting environment, ideally with Microsoft SharePoint and/or ECM projectsStrong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online, especially around content management, metadata, versioning, permissions, and governanceExperience in applied records management, project experience in Microsoft Purview and/or Collabware/Collabspace strongly preferredExperience with Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate) is an assetExperience integrating M365 with third-party platforms and APIsYou’re an active listener and enjoy helping people to solve their business challengesComfortable facilitating workshops, interviewing key persons, and synthesizing varied viewpointsStrong analytical acumenEmpathy, a growth mindset, and excellent communication skillsYou’re adaptable and go with the flow when things changeYou’re a curious person that loves to learnYou know how to have fun!Icing on the cakeExperience with SharePoint 2019, 2016, and 2013Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and custom SharePoint development is a plusExposure to content migration or cleanupKnowledge or experience in any of the following areas related to AI: Copilot and other AI tools such as Graph API, Microsoft Search, Viva Topics,
