Contribute to Alberta’s vital records as a Vital Statistics Specialist based in Edmonton. This full time temporary role focuses on the management of vital life event registrations.

In your position, you will report to the Vital Statistics Supervisor, providing guidance to stakeholders and maintaining the integrity of vital records. Your expertise in communication and customer service will be crucial as you coach internal and external partners while ensuring timely processing of vital events.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate daily data reconciliation with federal partners
• Investigate web service system issues
• Coordinate with service providers regarding enhancements
• Support registry agents in utilizing VISTAS
• Offer general advice on vital statistics inquiries

Requirements:
• University degree or relevant work experience
• Experience with VISTAS database required
• Robust verbal and written communication skills
• Capability to handle confidential data
• Excellent organizational skills
