We are always seeking skilled and adaptive people to become a part of KOA as we continue to grow and expand.About The RoleOur Vancouver Team is currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer/E.I.T. that will develop a diverse portfolio of mechanical engineering projects with a focus on the design, construction, and maintenance of complex mechanical systems. The successful candidate will utilize their experience and expertise in the field of mechanical engineering to provide solutions to a diverse clientele that includes multinational industry leaders. Your day to day will include:Participate in preparing drawing packages including 3D modeling, detailed plans, and specifications related to a wide variety of engineering projectsAnalyze data and assist in developing engineering calculations for mechanical applicationsParticipate in preparing proposals, specifications, cost estimates,



and contract documents for mechanical and multidiscipline engineering projectsParticipate in preparing detailed engineering reports and provide written and oral updates regarding the progress and completion of engineering projectsParticipate in the performance QA/QC reviews throughout the design development process for assigned projects as well as projects under development by othersAssist in field surveys as required throughout the project life cycleAbout YouBS in Mechanical Engineering2+ years of experience in Mechanical and/or Industrial engineering designRegistered with EGBC or eligible for Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) registrationExperience or familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) softwareAbility to collaborate with team members and clients in a multi-disciplined environmentAbility to travel to the USExcellent organizational skills and a robust attention to detailWhat We OfferAnnual base salary in the range of $70,000 – $80,000 CAD per year depending on experience and qualificationsFlexible working schedule to allow for a better work life balanceComprehensive benefits package including health and dental and RRSP matchProfessional Development and Growth OpportunitiesTeam Events
