and social lifeFunctions as a primary clinician utilizing a variety of specialized treatment modalities/therapies for individuals, groups of clients and/or their familiesThis position is assigned to the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Program. The successful candidate will work in a team treatment model with complex clients who have long-term psychiatric illness and co-occurring social and health issues. The position is an outreach role meeting clients in their homes and community. The ACT team provides ongoing mental health assessment, case management, housing assistance, family support, and substance use services to the clients served.This is a Casual opportunity. Ready to love where you live and work?QualficationsGraduation from an approved school of nursingTwo years' recent related MHSU experience in the assigned clinical area(s) (such as Counselling & Treatment Services; Treatment, Support & Recovery Services; Crisis Response; Seniors MHSU Services; Substance Use; Developmental Disability Mental Health Services (DDMHS), etc.) or an equivalent combination of education, training and experienceCurrent practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)Current valid B.C. driver's license
